Fontissimo is synonymous with best of the Fonti, and is made from the most beautiful grapes of our vineyards. In 1990 this wine was a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon; only in 2003 it was added with Merlot. In 2012 it becames a wine with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot ( 60/40%) but in 2014 has been added also .Sangiovese. This wine ages for 24 months in French oak barrels (225 litres). Fontissimo persuades of its blackberry taste and elegance, it’s a perfect “Super Tuscan” style, full-bodied, velvety, soft and at the end fulfilling. Its good with roast meats, game meat and aged cheeses.
